Founded in the 1980's by Dr. Earle King, King Orthodontics has been providing its patients with their most confident smiles for over 30 years. In 2006, his son Dr. Bryan King expanded from Wexford and opened a second practice in the cultural district of Pittsburgh. We strive to provide a calming, family friendly environment for all of our patients. Here at King Orthodontics our goal is to care for our patients the best we can in a state of the art environment in addition to giving each individual the personal attention they deserve.
At King Orthodontics we believe that experience matters. Designated by Invisalign® as one of North America's top 1% providers of their product, King Orthodontics has treated over 3,000 cases with Invisalign®. In addition to this, we are proudly part of the Invisalign® Century Club, an honor given to the top 100 providers in the United States. Our extensive experience with this product has allowed us to treat even the most difficult cases with Invisalign®, even some who had previously been told the product was not for them.
Invisalign
This product allows you to get the same results as metal braces with more comfort, removability, and little visibility. If you or your child has been told to seek orthodontic care, it might be time to look into Invisalign as your option.
Invisalign Teen®
Invisalign Teen® removes the discomfort of metal braces while also being practically invisible. They are also removable which allows teens to play sports and eat as they please. Invisalign Teen® also understands that accidents happen and will replace their product up to six times with no additional cost with their replacement plan.
Adult Braces
Adult braces are often given to patients to encourage healthy teeth and gums as adults have fully developed and set jawbones. Adult orthodontics is growing in popularity. Here at King Orthodontics, 50% of our patients are adults. The American Association of Orthodontics even reported that one in five patients are over the age of 21 nationwide.
Child Braces
There are many reasons a parent may seek orthodontic care for their child. It is recommended by the American Association of Orthodontics that a child first visit an orthodontist around seven years of age. This is an age where a child should have both permanent and baby teeth, allowing a certified orthodontist to best estimate how to take care of their teeth.
Emergency Orthodontic Care
Orthodontic emergencies are rare, however, we like to be sure our patients are taken care of. In cases of severe pain or an appliance causing pain, please contact our Pittsburgh or Wexford offices about coming in and seeing one of our doctors.
Surgical Orthodontics
Surgery is for severe cases in adults and are performed by an oral or maxillofacial surgeon. These surgeons are experts in treating complex craniofacial cases involving the face, jaw, mouth, and skull.
