Wall of Honor
"The Wall of Honor for those who serve and protect" egan 20 years ago with four local police patches hanging on one of our barber shop mirrors.
It kind of went crazy from there. Police were arriving with patches on duty in their cars. We were removing them from their works shirts in the barber shop then putting them on the wall. It truly is a wall of honor.
"we've been collecting patches from active and retired military, police, fire and E.M.S., one patch at a time", says owner J.R. Hoffman.
A German dignitary who speaks little English comes to our barber shop every other year while visiting his sister. He gets a great haircut and brings us new patches.
A picture of our wall of honor hangs in his office of emergency services in his hometown.
The wall of honor has over 400 patches from around the world and still grows weekly.
