We are Board Certified Specialists and have been for over 40 years. 

Our goal is to provide the highest quality care possible for our patients with allergic diseases, immune deficiency disorders, and asthma.  We have been working very hard to form a partnership with our patients and their families in order to help them achieve the goal of a happy symptom-free lifestyle.  By giving them the ability to live this lifestyle you are able to participate in school, work, and recreational activities.

Appointments
When you are making an with our allergy specialists at Allergy and Clinical, be sure to leave all of your necessary information. In the event you are unable to keep your appointment please try and give us at least 24 hours' notice, by doing this you avoid the $30 cancellation fee.  If you are new to the Allergy clinic, being a new patient your appointment will take anywhere from two to three hours. 

Insurance
When visiting our facility please remember to bring your insurance information and necessary forms at the time of your visit.  If we are to file your claim, we do ask that the payment of benefits be assigned to our office.  Here, our physicians participate in most of the Managed Care Organizations and many traditional commercial insurance plans.

Payment
Our policy offers a request payment of co-pays and non-covered services at the time of your visit. An initial allergy testing and another procedural visit may cost anywhere from $65-800.  Upon the time of your visit, please have a current insurance card with you.  If there is an unusual financial situation that makes it difficult to meet your medical expenses, you can discuss it with our billing department.

Allergy and Clinical Immunology treats allergies, asthma, and immune deficiency disorders so you can be symptom-free.  We work extremely hard to form a partnership with our patients along with their families.

Allergy Injections 

• These injections are administered Monday through Saturday which includes 3 evenings. A physician is always available during injection times.

Prescription Refills 

• You can request refills between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Laboratory Results 

• You may call for lab results on a day that your doctor is in the office.

Nurse Specialist 

• Whenever you may call regarding a medical problem, our receptionist will inform our Nurse Specialist. She will then call you for more exact details to relay to the doctor in the office. The nurse will return your call with the doctor’s recommendations.

Research 

• As a clinical research practice, our goal is to assist pharmaceutical and medical device industries develop new and effective products to treat a multitude of medical conditions and illnesses. We perform this important work through the administration of clinical trials. We hope you will join us in this effort. Our experienced and professional clinical research staff are highly qualified and we are fully committed to engaging you and your primary care physician as informed partners in everything we do. Together, we can help advance medical knowledge and help countless people improve their health and well-being.

Emergencies

• We continue to offer emergency coverage when our office is closed. At these times, we ask that calls be limited to true emergencies. In an emergency please call 412-571-5934. Insurance - Please bring your insurance card and necessary forms with you at the time of your visit. We do ask that payment of benefits be assigned to our office if you choose to have us file your claim. Our physicians participate in most of the Managed Care Organizations and many of the traditional commercial insurance plans. It is best to check with our office to see if you require pre-authorization (referrals) before we render any services.

Payment 

• It is our policy to request payment of co-pays and non-covered services at the time of your visit. The initial visit charges include allergy testing and other procedures, charges may vary from $65.00 - $800. While we are happy to file applicable charges to your insurance, some plans have high deductible amounts and patients are responsible for payment of charges until the deductible is met.
