A Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) can aid seniors and retirees through all stages of life, whether it be independent living or skilled nursing. Bethlen Communities offers an independent-living cottage village for those leading an active lifestyle without the fuss of home and yard maintenance. The Graceful Aging Wellness Center, located on our campus, engages adults age 50 and up in fitness, nutrition and wellness programs and opportunities that increase the joy of living a happier more enriching life. As a part on the “Continuum,†Bethlen Communities also offers personal care at Ligonier Gardens, and short and long term rehabilitation, skilled nursing and memory care at Bethlen Home. For those wishing to remain in their own home, Bethlen Communities offers an in-home Companion Caregiver Program to help maintain independence. Our Home Health service is a team of dedicated staff that will further your rehabilitation after you have been discharged to home. Bethlen’s Hospice service includes a qualified hospice team that assists those in the final stage of life. Bethlen Communities compassionately serves the patient and their families to manage the patient’s care, understand and cope with the symptoms and signs associated with the stages of dying, and provide emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes. Having several levels of care available on campus is an incredible benefit—it provides the security of knowing that if you need assisted living, rehabilitation care, memory care, or skilled nursing care at some point in the future, you won’t have to move to another community. Once connected to the Bethlen Community, you have the assurance of knowing home health, companion care and hospice services will be provided by those you have come to know and trust.
