The owner of Von Der Spitze, Antonio got his start as a little boy with a Doberman named Sprocket, and a Rottweiler named Katee. Both of these dogs were protective and looked after Antonio and he was in charge of grooming, feeding, and exercising them.
At age 14, Antonio was attacked by a dog and needed 30 stitches. After months with doctors, Antonio recovered, but was left with a question; "What was the difference that separated his dogs from the dog that attacked him?"
After some time in the Marine Corps, and exposure to working military dogs, Antonio had his answer. Over the last decade, he learned more about animal socialization, basic and advanced obedience training, protection training, explosive and narcotics detection training.
After multiple deployments and an Honorable discharge, he started working with law enforcement agencies and police kennels across the whole world.
Since 2010 Antonio has been actively involved in the dog Protection Sport of Schutzhund which has three phases: tracking, obedience, and protection.
Von Der Spitze has grown to encompass all dogs and make high-end training available to anyone whose dog requires it.
