Since Bethel Bakery opened for business in the 1955 in the South Hills section of Pittsburgh, generations of patrons have made their way to the shop for the bakery’s signature pastries, cookies, coffeecakes and one-of-a-kind cakes.

Since 1955, Bethel Bakery has been Pittsburgh's first and best choice for wedding cakes.  With our expert staff of Wedding Cake Consultants and extremely talented Cake Decorating Staff, we have been baking wedding memories from scratch since day one.  Add to that a private appointment in our Cake Showroom, located right in our bakery, and you will find yourself right in the middle of a full-service complete wedding cake experience.  While assisting you with your wedding cake selection, we will ensure that your wedding cake is tailored to your own unique vision and personal style. 

Seeing pictures of wedding cakes is one thing.  It is a completely different and more impactful experience to see our selction of cakes in person and on display.  In our newly expanded Cake Showroom, we have current designs on display to help you choose your perfect cake.  Seeing our selection of cakes in person will help bring to life the visual impact your cake will have on the reception location.

Of course, what would a wedding cake experience be without the cake tasting?  Your Bethel Bakery Wedding Cake Consultant will provide you with a sample plate holding five of our  most popular cake and filling combinations.  In addition to these, we also offer many other cake batter and filling options that we will share with you during your appointment.  When scheduling your appointment, please let us know how many people will be attending the tasting with you.  We are usually prepared for two or three people but we can easily prepare for a few more.

We will finalize your wedding cake order by reviewing all details and requests with you to make sure that everything is clear, correct, and thoroughly explained.  We want to make sure everything is correct and perfect for your big day, so we will make sure we have everything accurately conveyed before you walk out the door.  And we are always juswt a phone call or email away if you find yourself with any questions or concerns after the consultation and order.

Finally, it is your big day!  During the week leading up to your wedding we will call your venue and coordinate with them on the best time for us to deliver your cake.
