So...About Bubba. Hmmmm...Bubba was a 10 lb. 1 oz. baby… OK, wait. Maybe we are starting a little too early here.
Bubba's dad, Big Ed, grew up in the meat business. When Big Ed became an adult, he owned a butcher shop. One of Bubba's first jobs was working in Big Ed's butcher shop. Bubba used to help make fresh ground meat, bebone chicken breasts…whatever was needed around the shop. Bubba really loved being in that butcher shop.
Moving ahead some time. Bubba gets a job in radio behaving like an idiot and gets paid for it, but he still finds that his heart in in the service industry. So Bubba decides to try his hand. He got his feet wet with the opening of an under-21 dance club in Latrobe, PA called Planet Bubba. For a first experience in the industry, it was FUN! Next, I came Bubba’s Ugly, a restaurant and bar located on Pittsburgh's North Shore. (Eat. Drink. Get Ugly!) Along the way, there were some other restaurant/bars. And then Bubba and his family moved to South Fayette. He quickly came to realize that while the food and entertainment places int he area are great, there are just not enough of them.
Which brings us to today…
Bubba has partnered with a life-long friend, whose name also happens to be Ed. Ed is a retired Naval Officer whose decades of management and leadership skills, learned from both corporate America and the federal government, are helping Bubba to bring his restaurant dreams to life. Bubba and Ed decided to combine Ed's skills with the knowledgethat Big Ed provided about the meat business, Bubba's experience with the idiocy of the radio business, his experience in the hospitality and service industry, and their love for the South Fayette area. All of these things together combined to create a great, new, local place that has an atmosphere of welcome, friendship, and home.

Our burgers are made with a propriatary blend of brisket, prime meat and short ribs. We grind the meat fresh daily, which makes this our burgers second-to-none. We use all natural meat, with no steroids and no antibiotics. Our chicken is also held to the same standards. (We even have the letter to prove it!) We buy our products fresh and locally whenever possible. And all of this goes together to creat a great little place to call your own.
