Apogee IT Services continues to experience growth and positive change, but as we come into the office every day and seek to go above and beyond, we remember that we owe our company culture and Core Values to our foundation and the legacy left behind by Peter Briden.
Peter started PC Network Services in 1990 with an old computer, a cell phone, and a dream. His goal was simple: to provide IT support and technical expertise to those who needed it. The result was anything but simple, however. PC Network Services grew steadily from one man to a team of over 20, adding a small number of clients every year (mainly by referral). In 2004, PC Network Services transitioned to a managed services model with a predictable monthly fee, which was revolutionary at the time, and our client base increased consistently.
PC Network Services continued to build its leadership and technical teams. In April of 2014, the company brought on a new CEO (Peter still serves on the Board of Directors and as Senior Strategist). In April of 2015, we welcomed the team from CMIT Solutions – Boston into the fold, and on July 27, 2015, we launched one unified brand under the Apogee IT Services name. In January 2017, we welcomed a third major operations center in Toronto, Ontario.
Pittsburgh remains our company headquarters and the hub for our centralized operations. Today we serve over 375 managed services clients in more than a dozen industries.
