Friendly staff, with very helpful doctors. When getting allergy tests done, they provide amenities to help pass the time while waiting to get itchy.
Dr. DeAngelo is awesome; however his nursing staff made me never go back. Their allergy shot solutions are not very user-friendly and their front desk staff is far from helpful. Many just sitting there with smug faces and not very helpful.
The allergist does not store your serums for your shot. It is get inconvenient for those of us that are on the go and have to remember our serum and other paperwork. I used to go to Metro ENT, and I will go back-I had to change because my office was relocated.
The directions for the serum and their protocol are extremely confusing. You place your serum in an ice cube tray and wait for your name to be called over a loud speaker. First of all, I don't need everyone in the office knowing my name. Next, an ice cube tray? It's 2016. Last but not least, you have to bring in paperwork each time. I am a software executive; I don't have time to keep track of a piece of paper and remember. Where is their software and attention to details.
At Metro ENT, you walk in, they have your serum. They log into their system, and you get your shot. Easy, user friendly, and no mean nurses or staff. I will never go back, and I will find everywhere to give my review. I've been on Yelp, Healthgrades, and Super Pages.
Staff is nice. Like the doctors. But the wait time to get shots is ridicilious! U can spend 2 hrs here on a saturday for shots! I just waited 40 mins to get called back. And now i have to wait 30 mins to get checked. It a hassle....
I had a great experience at Allergy and Clinical because it was a short Allergy evaluation. I got the answers I wanted in a short amount of time.
My youngest daughter was having issues at gym class at school with her breathing when she was exercising. We took her in for an appointment expecting to find that she had asthma. After some tests they came to the conclusion that it was Allergy related. They put her on medication and she has not had a problem since. The staff was incredible and we are so happy with the treatment she got.
I take my daughter to ACI in Bethel Park and it has been great. They are extremely efficient but also very very friendly to both me and my daughter. In the waiting area, there has never been a time when I ever even had a chance to open a magazine before they call us back to the exam room. There is also never much of a wait in the exam rooms either. The nursing staff is very good with my 10 year old daughter. Dr. Palumbo is our doctor and he is also very thorough and friendly. I seriously could not ask for a better experience than we get at her appointments.
When we were told our son was going to need regular allergy injections, a relative recommended ACI Pittsburgh. They have been wonderful with our son, and he feels very comfortable going for his shots. The evening hours are a great bonus, too!
