Sal Acosta BSEE, MBA
Sal has over thirty years of business and financial experience, both as a small business entrepreneur and as a corporate executive for well-known global corporations. Sal knows first-hand the challenges of running a small enterprise because he has owned both an indepdendent small businsiness and a local service outlet for a national franchise.
His corporate background includes roles as General Manager, Finance Manager, Engineer, and Director of Operations for world-class organizations like General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, and ABB. As an entrepreneur he has successfully started, bought, grown, and sold small businesses. As a corporate executive he has been involved with multi-million dollar sub-contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Finally, Sal has shared his knowledge and experience with young professionals by teaching Managerial Accounting, Personal Finance, and Auditing at Belmont College.
Sal has an Electrical Engineering degree from MIT and an MBA from Tulane University. In addition, he has traveled extensively for both business and pleasure and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
