Often times, visitors have a desire to be heard. Whether it is to offer an opinion, tell a story or engage in conversation with business owners and other participants, visitors want to be recognized. Additionally, for those businesses that have the ability to do so, sweepstakes and giveaways are great methods to attract - and retain - site visitors. The most important thing to remember is that people value their time. If your social space give a sense of appreciation and worth to visitors, they are more likely to participate and spread the word.
What Compels a Visitor to Return?
Once your social space has attracted and retained the interest of visitors, how do you keep them coming back? Regular, fresh and interesting content is one way to accomplish this.
